Calling ALL Stand Up Paddle Boards, Canoes, Kayaks, Sailboats, Small Boats and Large boats!
On Saturday, March 29th, join our friends from Paradise Paddle Boards and put your vessel in the water and meet on the West side of Rocky Bayou Bridge at 9:30am for a group photo. Paddle Boarders can meet at LJ Schooners at 9am and boats must be anchored by 9am. Let’s fill our Bayou with various vessels and work together to learn safe water practices for a wonderful season of water activities. Stand Up Paddle Board Race to immediately follow group picture with $25 donation. Race will be from photo spot to Rocky Creek and back to ay Tot Island. Then we’ll head to LJ Schooners Dockside Restaurant and Oyster Bar beach to purchase an Invasion of the Bayou T-Shirt, story time (10:30am) for the children, visit from the Coast Guard Auxiliary for water safety information and schedule boat inspections.
The Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club along with Bluewater Bay Marina & Paradise Paddle Boards are supporting ‘Josh the Baby Otter’ Water Safety and Literacy project. Your support will purchase ‘Josh the Baby Otter’ books for local preschool classes.
